MANILA, Philippines – Little Monsters rejoice! American pop icon Lady Gaga announced on her official Instagram page on Monday, March 10, that she is returning to Singapore for her “MAYHEM” tour, her only stop in Asia.

It will feature songs from her newly released album Mayhem, which was recently made public on March 7. This is following the release of the singles “Disease” and “Abracadabra.”

The 4-day show will run from May 18, 19, 21, and 24 at the National Stadium. Tickets for the show, which will be mounted by Live Nation, will be available for purchase to the general public by March 21 at 2 pm.

In a social media post by Singapore’s Minister for Culture, Community, and Youth, Edwin Tong, they are working closely with event organizer Live Nation to warmly welcome all local and international fans.

“The [Kallang Alive Sport Management] team has been working closely and directly with Live Nation to bring Lady Gaga to Singapore, and the Mother Monster has confirmed her show for multiple nights at the National Stadium — her only stop in Asia!” Tong captioned the post.

“This is our commitment to bring the best events and exceptional experiences to you, the fans,” he said in the video.

The “Poker Face” singer’s concert in Singapore comes just after the country awarded pop star Taylor Swift a grant to perform in the city-state in 2024.

Lady Gaga was last in the Philippines in 2012 for her “BORN THIS WAY BALL TOUR.” She was threatened with arrest if she performed “Judas” during the show, after several Christians groups protested, calling her song “blasphemous.”

Her last time to perform in Singapore was during the same tour.

Lady Gaga debuted in 2008, dominating the music charts with her albums including Born this Way, Joanne, and Chromatica. She is also well recognized in her acting career, gaining multiple Best Actress nominations for her role as Ally in A Star is Born (2018) and Patrizia Reggiani in The House of Gucci (2021).

She won the Best Original Song Oscar in 2019 for “Shallow” from A Star is Born.

Meanwhile, she won her 14th Grammy for her hit collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile.” – with reports from Kevin Lampayan/Rappler.com
