From first words to full sentences, every stage of a child’s language development is a reflection of their growth. Proper nutrition plays a huge role in this process, serving as an essential building block for brain development.
Promil has long been dedicated to supporting parents in their journey to nurture their children’s potential. This commitment was on full display during the Promil Gold Gifted Talks, an enlightening event to equip Gifted Moms with the knowledge and tools they need to support their children’s early language development.
Ballroom III of Grand Hyatt in Bonifacio Global City was packed with inspiring mommies dedicated to nurturing their children with the power of Promil Gold.
The event had insightful keynote discussions from preschool educator, Rosanne Araneta; Wyeth Nutrition Neurocognition research head, Jonathan O’Regan; global marketing manager of Wyeth Nutrition, Jocelyn Lacida; and Promil Gold Gifted Mom Isabelle Daza Diaz-Semblat. They talked about how Wyeth Nutrition through Promil uplifts heritage, nutrition, and innovation for this generation now and in the years to come.
“Here in Wyeth Nutrition, we truly believe in shaping future generations, and we take pride in our role in helping parents unlock the potential of their kids to be exceptional and gifted,” shared Promil’s AVP for marketing, Bianca Tiam Lee on the inspiration behind Gifted Talks.
“That continues to be the backbone of everything that we do. We want to share new insights and knowledge from our speakers with parents. The inspiration is for parents to talk to their kids and for them to teach their kids to communicate properly.” she added.
“Language is thought. How can you think without labels like hard, big, happy, sad?” Teacher Roseanne shared during her keynote discussion. “When there’s no memory, there’s no way for your language to progress. The more words we have in our vocabulary, the deeper our thoughts are.”
Teacher Roseanne also shared how many different factors have caused speech delays, along with shortened attention spans. That’s why parents need to add fun to teaching their language skills through interactive storytelling, having reading routines, spelling things out together, and more.
The afternoon was also packed with enriching activities like ‘Gifted Bingo’ and ‘AI vs Gifted Mom’ which allowed the mom participants to discuss their children’s language milestones and how Promil has been with them through every step of the way.
Brain power through Promil Gold
When children can communicate their feelings, they develop their social skills and other forms of intelligence. As early as three years old, children may say longer sentences, have stronger memory, and understand more complex concepts, which helps set the stage for academic success as they grow.
That’s why it’s important to keep them stimulated not just with learning tools, but also through proper nutrition. Promil Gold is Wyeth Nutrition’s most advanced milk formula packed with Alpha-Lipids. Through this advanced formulation of alpha-lipids that support brain development, parents can help their kids reach their full potential.
Reflecting on this initiative, Isabelle Diaz Daza-Semblat also shared how her son, Balthazar Gabriel, or Baltie, can speak four languages at six years old.
“My husband and I try to work as a team in balancing how to develop our children’s brains. When it comes to language, we know our parts. My husband speaks to them purely in French. And I speak to them in Tagalog,” she said.
“What I also love about this event is that they’re fostering communities,” she added. “They have activities that are engaging for us parents and why it’s vital for our children to develop their language.”
Ultimately, events like Promil Gold Gifted Talks play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical childrearing and practical parenting. By providing the right nutrition, like that found in Promil Gold, parents can empower the next generation to have a voice of their own. – Rappler.com
